dr. sc. Izet Šabotić

Izet (Tahir) Šabotić was born on June 3, 1964. He graduated from the Pedagogical Academy in Skopje. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Department of History, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Tuzla. He earned his Master's degree from the University of Sarajevo in 2003 and received his PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Tuzla, on May 24, 2008, with a doctoral dissertation entitled Agrarian Reform and Colonization in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1945 to 1948. His primary academic and scientific field of research is the "Modern Age." He has participated as a lecturer in numerous international and domestic scientific and professional conferences. He is a long-standing Editor-in-Chief of several journals, including Arhivska praksa (Archival Practice), Glasnik arhiva (The Archives Herald) published by the Archival Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Historijski pogledi (Historical Views), and serves as an editorial board member for multiple international and domestic journals and other publications. He has actively participated in the implementation of numerous cultural, scientific, and professional projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, and has held various positions in professional and scientific associations at all levels.
